Oh how I love the feeling of spring finally kicking in after some long cold months! This week has been exceptionally lovely and although I had quite some school assignments to hand in, I tried to grab all opportunities to enjoy the weather to the fullest. On Friday for example I had a few hours off in between classes and spent them on a terrace together with my friend Stéphanie. AWESOME. Since she recently started a blog as well, we photographed each other’s (coincidently pretty similar!) outfits before I had to go attend class again. Check her out at the end of the post!
I had been waiting for this sunny weather for quite some time because of a particular piece… This sophisticated yet quirky crop trench by Comptoir des Cotonniers had been hanging in my closet for a few weeks and I was thrilled to finally wear it last week! HELLUU THERE, SPRING COAT OF MY DREAMS! Isn’t it a beauty? In store I was doubting between a grey-ish classic long one and this younger camel version, but I felt that I would wear the cropped one more often. I was probably right, since it’s the one piece that I now standardly grab for in the morning. This combination is a pretty classic French interpretation but I’m looking forward to featuring the coat in a more edgy, sporty outfit.
